How to Verify Before the Truck Leaves

You have about a 10-minute window on delivery to check the load before the driver dumps. Use it.

The time to raise a concern is before the material is spread, not after. Once fill is spread across a garden bed, correcting it means removing and hauling away all of it. That’s an avoidable cost.

  2. What is the approximate organic content?
  3. Is it screened?
  4. Is this native topsoil or a blended compost mix?
